Meet Dr. Andrew M. Heaton
After obtaining his bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University he was accepted the University of Southern California for dental school. There he not only served the adults and children of the greater Los Angeles area, but also worked with AYUDA, a non-profit organization that reaches out to provide free dental work to underserved children. With this group he gave his Saturdays to local free clinics and also had the opportunity to travel to Belize, Mexico, and Nicaragua to help children who would never have had the resources to get their dental work done otherwise. It was during this time that he realized that making a difference in the current and future health of a child was what he most wanted to do with his career.
From that point forward he focused on pediatrics (children’s dentistry). Upon completion of his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at USC in 2009 he was accepted into a pediatric dental residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans Louisiana. For two years he worked in Children’s Hospital New Orleans providing specialized dental care to children of varying backgrounds and health needs.
Dr. Heaton married his wife Candice during the first of his many years of schooling and training. Together they have six children. In June 2011 he completed his residency and moved to Texas to open All Star Children’s Dentistry. In November of 2012, Dr. Heaton was awarded the title of Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry after achieving board certification.
His goal is to provide quality care for every family that he sees and to help create a healthier future for the children in the area which he serves.
We love what we do.

so you can get back to your day!
Our office was built with your child in mind.
We can’t wait to see you at your next visit!
Preventive
Dentistry
This includes proper brushing, flossing and eating habits, ideal fluoride levels and the use of pit and fissure sealants. We strive to provide a fun, educational environment where children learn about the importance of good dental hygiene.
Restorative
Dentistry
This includes children’s sealants, fillings, and crowns including treatment of devastating early childhood caries. We are committed to discussing all options before these procedures and answering all questions you may have. Always working for the goal of a healthy smile is our first priority.

Dr. Andrew Heaton was born and raised in Southern Utah and spent his childhood playing little league, raising chickens, and working in his family’s garden. As he grew up he found that his first love was sports. But, it didn’t take long for him to realize that his second passion in life was dentistry.
